Who we are
We're a values-based organisation
Established more than 20 years ago and proudly 100% locally owned and operated, Spectran Group employs over 200 Tasmanians statewide and delivers services across Tasmania through a 24/7 operational model.
Our continued growth has been built on a commitment to providing clients with a single-source solution capable of safely delivering complex projects across multiple disciplines. From our beginnings in civil construction, transport and traffic management, Spectran has evolved into one of Tasmania’s most capable multidisciplinary contractors.
Recognising the need for specialised environmental and waste management services, the Group expanded its capabilities in 2010 to include licensed waste management, contaminated land services, hazardous materials remediation and environmental management.
Over the following decade, Spectran successfully delivered many of Tasmania’s largest environmental remediation and asbestos removal projects.
As the owner and operator of Tasmania’s only EPA-licensed undercover storage facility for contaminated soils and bulk liquid products, Spectran has played a critical role in supporting industry, government and infrastructure projects throughout the state.
