Hobart Stormwater stages 1 & 4

Spectran Group were awarded the contract by City of Hobart to repair nine areas identified as critical across the Sandy Bay and New Town rivulets.

The type of works varied but included the following:
• Gabion Baskets
• Rock Revetments
• Concrete Slabs and Underpinning
• Block Works Walls
• Stone Walls
• Shotcrete
• Soft Landscaping
• Hard Landscaping

Access into the rivulets were very tight and required methodical planning and implementation to ensure minimum impact on the riparian zone. Public contact for each site was critical, ensuring that access was available and site treatment agreed on prior to the commencement of works.
