Dominic College – Stage 1, 2 & 3

Spectran delivered the civil infrastructure works for the staged redevelopment of Dominic College over a four-year period, supporting the construction of the new Early Learning Centre and associated campus infrastructure.

The project involved the construction of new road access from Tolosa Street, extensive parking aisles, bus turning and drop-off facilities, pedestrian pathways, landscaping and a comprehensive stormwater management system. The works were carefully staged to maintain safe access for students, staff and visitors while allowing ongoing school operations and concurrent building construction to continue.

An extensive network of pedestrian pathways was constructed throughout the campus, incorporating exposed aggregate concrete, coloured concrete, standard concrete, brick paving and asphalt finishes. These pathways seamlessly connected the new school facilities, parking areas, landscaped zones and sporting precincts, creating a safe and accessible environment for the school community.

With construction occurring adjacent to active school operations, Spectran implemented detailed staging and traffic management plans to safely separate students, staff, construction activities and vehicle movements. Temporary access routes and pedestrian pathways were continuously adapted throughout each stage to minimise disruption while maintaining safe access across the campus.
